Introduction to specifications and models of galvanized pipes

Galvanized pipes, also known as hot-dip galvanized pipes, are made by immersing steel pipes in molten zinc liquid so that a layer of zinc is attached to the surface of the steel pipe to increase the corrosion resistance and service life of the steel pipe. There are various specifications and models of galvanized pipes, which are mainly divided according to their outer diameter. The following is a detailed introduction to several common specifications and models of galvanized pipes:

1. Small size galvanized pipe

DN15: outer diameter is 21.3mm, commonly used in small flow systems such as household water pipes.

DN20: outer diameter is 26.8mm or 26.9mm, suitable for small flow liquid or gas transportation.

DN25: outer diameter is 33.5mm or 33.7mm, suitable for general industrial piping systems.

DN32: outer diameter is 42.25mm or 42mm, used for medium flow pipe systems.

DN40: The outer diameter is 48mm or 48.3mm, suitable for pipeline needs with larger flow rate.

2. Medium specification galvanized pipe

DN50: outer diameter is 60mm, commonly used in water supply and gas supply systems of industrial and commercial buildings.

DN65/70: The outer diameter is 75.5mm, which may vary depending on the specific model. It is suitable for pipes with larger flow rates.

DN80: outer diameter is 88.5mm, commonly used in piping systems of large buildings and industrial facilities.

DN100: outer diameter is 114mm, suitable for occasions requiring large amounts of fluid or gas transportation.

3. Large-sized galvanized pipes

DN125: outer diameter is 140mm, used for large pipeline projects, such as urban water supply, drainage systems, etc.

DN150: The outer diameter is 165mm, suitable for larger flow transmission needs.

DN200: outer diameter is 219mm, commonly used in large industrial pipelines and public facilities.

Things to note

The specifications and models of galvanized pipes are not limited to the above. There may be other special specifications of galvanized pipes in actual applications.

The wall thickness of galvanized pipes is also an important factor to consider when selecting. Galvanized pipes with different wall thicknesses have different abilities to withstand pressure.

When selecting galvanized pipes, the appropriate specifications, models and wall thickness should be determined based on the specific use environment and needs.
