It is usually supplied in hot rolled or normalized state, and can be quenched by quenching and tempering, with a surface hardness of up to 55HRC. C45 steel round bar is widely used in the manufacture of parts such as gears, bolts, shafts, and other occasions requiring higher strength and wear resistance.
